UniversalAET Designs, Manufactures Custom Turbine Exhaust Systems for Australian LNG Facility
Universal Acoustic & Emission Technologies recently supplied turbine exhaust systems to the Gladstone Liquefied Natural Gas (GLNG) facility on Curtis Island in Queensland, Australia, for the first of two LNG production trains.
UniversalAET’s project manager worked with the customer and with Bechtel, the engineering, procurement and construction contractor for the facility, to produce designs by UniversalAET engineers for two custom turbine exhaust systems that meet Australian specifications. These systems, which stand 30 meters tall, include acoustic silencers, ladders and platforms, support structures, ducting, expansion joints, rain stacks, personnel protection features and additional components. UniversalAET also provided two standard design exhaust systems for the project.
The GLNG Project is an $18.5 billion pioneering venture to convert coal seam natural gas to LNG for export to global markets. It is a major investment in a cleaner energy source for the future.
UniversalAET designs and manufactures systems such as those for the GLNG facility for Oil & Gas and Power Generation facilities around the globe for cleaner, quieter operations. To learn more, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 888-300-4272.
