3 Employees to Represent Universal at ECC Conference

Three UniversalAET staff members will be attending the 47th annual ECC (Engineering and Construction Contracting Association) Conference Sept. 9-12 in San Antonio, Texas, as well as leading it as part of the ECC Future Leaders program.

Technical Sales Manager Jason Jakubiak is in his first year as an ECC Future Leader. Business Development Manager Humberto Ribera is in his second year, and General Manager Alfonso Canedo is in his third year.

This year's theme is "Complexity, Ambiguity and Volatility: Leading in the New Normal." The ECC Conference provides executives and decision makers with the opportunity to connect with industry leaders and colleagues. The two-day conference includes world-class keynote speakers, discussion sessions on trends and strategies, breakout forums on specific topics, social events and endless opportunities for networking. The agenda is new each year, reflecting the constantly changing global economy and the engineering and construction industry.

The ECC Future Leader program is designed to provide a network of emerging professionals in the engineering and construction contracting industry. In addition, the program supports the ECC mission of promoting thought leadership by providing fresh perspectives on various matters related to the industry, and by enabling knowledge transfer across various stakeholders of the ECC community. The program provides a means for emerging professionals — including promising engineers, project managers and functional managers — to collaborate in learning activities during the year as well as make presentations at the annual conference.
